Lusan Chua is a writer based in Los Angeles. For her, travel is a lifestyle, not a hobby. While journeying to more than 40 countries, Lusan has cultivated the art of last-minute trips; her family and friends are not surprised when she decides the day before a flight to “just go.”

Lusan’s favorite adventures include: diving off the coast of Tanzania, elephant riding in Laos, enjoying indie flicks at Sundance, wine tasting near Capetown, photographing street art in Buenos Aires, and practicing yoga in Tulum.

Lusan studied literature, psychology, and law at Stanford and spent semesters abroad in England, Switzerland, Paris, Taipei, and Shanghai. When not traveling, Lusan can be found embodying a mantra she learned during a surf trip to Kauai’s north shore: “Life is better by the beach.”
