Hello, my name is Jen Tischbein and I am currently living in Seongnam, South Korea (located 30 minutes south of Seoul). I moved here in August 2009 to become an elementary school English teacher.

I work with 5th and 6th grades students helping them develop an overall love for the English language. Pre-Korea, I lived in Boston Massachusetts working with various non-profit organizations. Before I departed, I was the Program Director for an AmeriCorps program called Leaps in Literacy.

I graduated from SUNY Binghamton in May 2005 with a B.A. in Psychology. When my Korea stint is over I plan to return to Boston and become an elementary school reading specialist. I enjoy reading, running, the occasional drink and the great NY Giants football team.
