Born in Stockholm, Fredrik's parents were both from Stockholm, and so were his ancestors before them. According to him, "it takes 3 generations of Stockholmians to be a true Stockholmian." Fredrik also spent extensive time in Italy and France as a child and studied in England, Germany, and Italy in addition to Stockholm University. He has also worked in Italy, Spain, Germany.
