Insider Favorites: Sherri's Guide to Wimberley, Texas

Trees surround a lake at Blue Hole Regional Park in Wimberley

Wimberley, deep in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, called to my family. Surrounded by artists and imbued with unparalleled natural beauty, Wimberley offers a unique destination that brings together classic Texas hospitality and a cosmopolitan art scene. We found the beauty of the Texas Hill Country and the open hearts of Wimberley’s residents irresistible.

I want to share with you my favorite…

  • Cocktail bar: The Buzzard Bar behind Cypress Creek Cafe

  • Dance club: We don’t have one of those—but Austin is just down the road
