- Chill bar: Wineries, craft breweries, and spirit distilleries abound in Wimberley—take time out and sample the local creations
- Cocktail bar: The Buzzard Bar behind Cypress Creek Cafe

- Dance club: We don’t have one of those—but Austin is just down the road
- Live music venue: The Buzzard Bar, but also check out the concerts at Blue Rock Studio and Susanna’s Kitchen

- Sporting event: It’s Texas—Wimberley High School football under the Friday night lights
- Hiking trail: Blue Hole Regional Park
