Emeraude Classic Cruises Annual Wine & Dine Trip
Earlier this month, we introduced Emeraude Cruises big spa debut. Now we’re giving you one more reason to visit Halong Bay, Vietnam. In addition to being a destination in the running for one of the World’s Seven Greatest Natural Wonders, Emeraude Cruises has chosen the area to host an exclusive, once in a lifetime opportunity—a gala cave dinner.
Forget the headlamp and rain slicker, and slip into something a little more elegant. Okay, a lot more elegant. The black tie event is truly fine dining at its best, complete with starched white linen, polished silverware and sparkling wine glasses. The four-course dinner will feature the best of local produce and traditions, of course served by formally attired waiters.
Emeraude Cruises introduced the popular annual Wine & Dine trip five years ago, and this year’s event may just be the most exquisite caving experience in the world.
“We’ve always had a desire to evoke nostalgia for days gone by,” said Kurt Walter, General Manager of Emeraude Classic Cruises. “With dinner jackets and ball gowns, we’ve also worked in an element of time traveling. That sense of magic and surrealism is enhanced by candlelight at dinner in Drum Cave.”
The event takes place Saturday May 29th to Sunday May 30th, with an all-inclusive price of $195 per person.
