Cherry Blossoms in Bloom
DC has Cherry Blossom Fever this week! They are in full-bloom, right now. And if you can survive the tourists, you have to head down to the Tidal Basin to check them out.
The Cherry Blossom Festival goes until April 11th, and it includes daily cultural performances, a parade, and tons of other activities. Basically, other than…you know… making laws and stuff, there’s no other DC institution like the blossoms. (And if you’re anywhere near DC, hopefully the pictures do them justice. They are especially nice this year, even after the crazy winter we had!)
