Harry Eigenberg was born in the north of Holland (province Groningen) in 1967. In the early nineties, after his study at the Business School in Haarlem, Eigenberg joined PAUW, the Amsterdam based exclusive and renowned fashion and interior company (Dries van Noten, Ralph Lauren).
In 1996 he started his own company and soon opened his interior store Harry Eigenberg Interior in Laren, Holland. The following years he gained repute with his ability to blend trendy features with pure simplicity, working with and for a scope of interior and art lovers, ranging from internationally renowned captains of industry (e.g. John de Mol, cf. Endemol, creator Big Brother) to Dutch celebrities (e.g. Monique van de Ven). In 2001 Eigenberg joined the management team of revered Dutch interior designer Jan des Bouvrie.
With years of working experience in creative and international environments (Milan, London, Paris, Zurich, Brussels, Antwerp) Harry Eigenberg has been building a repertory of exclusive venues of fashion, art and interior design across Europe - a kaleidoscope of European contacts and addresses widely appreciated by his clients who contract him as a Personal Shopper and Interior and Art Consultant.
Eigenberg is a steady visitor of national and international art events like La Biennale di Venezia or the Sao Paolo Biennale and he took part in the 2009 Yves Saint Laurent auction in Paris. Recently he has renamed his business – Cell H By Harry Eigenberg – incorporating the philosophy of French-American artist Louise Bourgeois whose design work has inspired Eigenberg for its structural consideration of entities in relation to their surroundings.
As a passionate art lover Harry Eigenberg inspires and teaches others to look beyond interior design and its ornaments, always aiming to translate the clients’ personal happiness and their individual relationships into customized and unique designs. Eigenberg: ‘I appreciate and enjoy all appearances of beauty and it has always been my drive to capture elegance and pleasurableness and make my clients live them fervently.’
