Sundays at the Other Room

Los Angeles is a fun city to be in every single day of the week, and every time of the year. There is always something going on, special events, cool restaurants, premiers, the beach, etc.

If by chance you happen to be in the dynamic city of Los Angeles during a weekend, make sure you stop by the Other Room in Venice on a Sunday around 5 pm. The vibe of this wine and beer bar is absolutely one of a kind: great music, beautiful people, cozy and rustic interior design, and a great beer and wine selection. At the Other Room you will find an amazing wine and beer selection from all around the world. I was completely in shock and full of excitement when I found out they had the local Costa Rican beer, Imperial.

Also, if you feel like having a bite, you can buy some food at one of the many food trucks parked along Abbot Kinney, or you can grab a gourmet snack at the deli next door, Local 1205.

Another good tip is to start your Sunday early on Abbot Kinney. Take a walk around the famous and hip street – one of my favorites around the city. It’s full of fun and interesting galleries, and cute stores with unique and amazing designers. Along the way you will find lots of little restaurants and coffee places, including one of the best coffee shops in LA, Intelligentsia. This place is a must for everyone who considers him or herself a coffee lover.

Shopping, eating, and drinking in one of the trendiest places in town… it doesn’t go better than this. Cheers!
