Reason to Party Turns One
2010 marks Reason to Party’s 1st Anniversary. I recently attended a celebration of this birthday milestone for a group that mixes philanthropy with fun.
As part of the event, Reason To Party threw a stylish celebration at the chic St. Regis Hotel, with proceeds benefiting three influential non-profits that make a tremendous impact in the lives of San Francisco’s citizens: Visual Aid, At the Crossroads, and The Future Leaders Institute. Each organization strives to make a positive impact by providing much-needed services and counseling to those in need. Visual Aid works to preserve and promote the artwork of local professional artists who have been diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses and who can no longer maintain their art careers. At the Crossroads (ATC) offers counseling and mentoring to youths who normally would not have access to traditional services or support. The Future Leaders Institute is a non-profit that aims to engage high school students in generating and implementing visionary solutions for society.
Each Reason to Party event brings together Bay Area communities and businesses to raise funds and awareness for local charity organizations in the best possible way—cocktails, music, and more. To learn more about Reason To Party, and find out about their next big event, visit their website.
