‘Lette Macarons – Genuinely Parisian
Paulette of ‘Lette Macarons has been focusing exclusively on macarons and has been tantalizing taste buds since 2007. Clean lines and a modern feel helps to not detract from the visitor’s experience. The focus is firmly placed on the daily handmade delectables. The storefront is not bare, but merely acts as a canvas for the crayon-hued desserts. The understated decor is not to be overlooked. Viennese architect Andrea Lenardin Madden received the City of Beverly Hills Design Award for the concept and design of the bakery.
My absolute favorite ganache-filled cookie is the Salted Caramel, or Caramel Beurre Salé if you will. Mmmm… oozing sticky caramel with its strong and savory fleur de sel. This moist cookie is slightly chewy and gently crumbles. You definitely find yourself eating in slow motion!
Indulge in a sneaky single macaron for $1.70 or pamper someone’s taste buds with a gift box ranging from $10.50 – $59.
Word around town is that this is the next Sprinkles Cupcake. But being that ‘Lette has been a quite success since 2007, their word-of-mouth advertising and loyal customer base should be a testament to the niche they’ve carved out.
Approachable class, sophisticated taste, and vibrantly colored… what more could you want in a Parisian, let alone their sweet almond counterpart!
