Q: What type of traveler are you? (i.e., adventurer, cultural explorer, free spirit, rejuvenator, spa aficionado, etc.) I would love to be able to travel more. I’m an explorer and an adventurer at heart.
A: I usually travel for work, but one of my most memorable vacations was Italy. The city was beautiful and I definitely ended up eating too much of the coutry’s amazing food.
Q: What types of activities do you like to do on your travels? Do you look for a place where it’s quiet and you can relax or someplace that has great activities or nightlife?
A: I love Miami! Whether you’re going to a spa or going out dancing, the city has so much to offer. It’s almost as if you’re on an island. I’ve performed there many times and always love the energy.
Q: When thinking about where you will travel to next, what inspires you to make a decision? And what, if any, research do you do about that destination?
A: Sometimes I like to do research and other times I like to just be spontaneous. Over the next two months, I’ll be traveling to China, Taiwan, and Korea for my tour. For that trip, it will definitely be a combination of both.
Q: What is the most memorable trip you’ve taken and why?
A: My most memorable trip was Italy. It’s funny because I actually ended up getting lost at the beginning of the trip the day we were supposed to visit the Colosseum. You had to take a bus to get there. Of course, I missed the bus and got separated from my group. I eventually met up with everyone, but getting lost ended up turning out to be an amazing adventure because I got the opportunity to explore the city. The Italian guys were also quite charming (maybe a little too charming for me).
Q: What is the best food you’ve ever found on a trip?
A: New Orleans gumbo!
Q: What, if anything, do you always take with you when you travel?
A: I’m definitely guilty of over-packing. I usually end up bringing five bags with me. I mean, a girl can never have too many options, right? For the plane, I always have to bring my vitamins and anti-bacterial wipes in my backpack.
Q: What’s your best piece of travel advice?
A: Always be prepared. It’s important to have your passport and a back-up ID. Also, make sure to keep an eye on your luggage at the airport; it’s a must!
Q: Is there a destination to which you can’t imagine not returning?
A: I’m not sure if I can pinpoint one place, but I guess I’d have to say Miami. Honestly, I can’t wait to have the chance to travel the world. I’m always in for a new adventure!
Q: Where are your favorite weekend getaways?
A: Vegas is one of my favorite weekend getaways. The casinos, pool parties, and spas are incredible, and I had so much fun during the Blue Man Group and Cirque du Soleil performances the last time I was there.
Q: Where would you like to travel to next?
A: My birthday is coming up, and I’d love to go to Jamaica!
Q: Tell us about your upcoming project(s)?
A: I would love for you to check out my new single “Cowgirl” on iTunes and Amazon. Hope everyone enjoys it!
