In Chicago With Princess Yasmin Aga Khan
Dreaded Alzheimer’s disease suffered a telling blow with the millions for research raised at the 23rd Rita Hayworth Gala Benefit at The Fairmont Hotel, hosted by the screen star’s look-alike daughter, Princess Yasmin Aga Khan. Cirque performers, MC Terry Moran of ABC News Nightline and patient Pat Van Dyke telling her personal story of survival, highlighted the exciting dinner dance for 500.
Yasmin shared the sweetest memory of her gorgeous movie star mom. “Our days in the sun around our pool in Beverly Hills were golden and magical,” Yasmin said wistfully. “Mother constantly reminded me to wear sun screen on my neck and shoulders as well as my face and to this day I am grateful for her nurturing. She was great fun, with a fine sense of humor.”
GOOD NEWS: Serveral drugs are in trials and look promising to thwart evil Alzheimer’s.
