From our “Day at the Races” benefit in the elegant Governors Suite to fun for the family, Arlington Park Race Track has something special for everyone!
The Sport of Kings is for fun-loving folks who find free pony rides and a petting zoo for kids on Sundays from noon to 4p.m. and the exciting races starting at 1p.m. Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Admission to the the beautiful park setting in Arlington Heights, IL, from 11:15 a.m. is $8 for adults with kids always free. (Go online for tickets for $6.)
Every Thursday seniors over 55 are welcomed for $4. Watching the sleek thoroughbreds up close is always a treat and there are plenty of food stations with delicious, inexpensive fare.
Beautiful women wearing their best hats make Saturdays and Sundays especially good for people watching. And you’ll usually find owner Dick Duchossois making sure his guests are well taken care of.
