Exclusive Interview With Jetsetter and Entrepreneur Loren Ridinger

As a female entrepreneur, I love to learn from other women entrepreneurs who are up to big things. And since I’m in New York right now (Kim Kardashian is opening a new DASH NYC location and my vanities are going into the VIP Makeup Area) we thought it would be a perfect time to hear from international entrepreneur Loren Ridinger.

Loren is the Senior Vice President of internet retailing giant Market America, Creator of the award-winning cosmetic line, Motives® by Loren Ridinger and the uber-luxurious skincare line, Cellular Laboratories™, and founder of the exquisite jewelry collection, Loren Jewels®. Although she travels a lot, she lives her summers in New York and her winters in Miami.

What is your favorite city in the world and why?

Besides New York, I have to say as an avid traveler one my favorite cities till this day is Paris. I am infatuated with glamour, history, tradition and romance. I think Paris has it all! I would probably recommend: Gardens at Versailles, La Fontaine at Parc Ranelaigh, and Jardin Atlantique. (Maxine’s note: I couldn’t agree more! I LOVE Paris.)

What do you love about New York?

I love the culture in New York, I think there is something so mysterious, classic yet so modern. New York is full of personalities, ambition, glamour and creativity. New York is one of those cities that you can’t live without. While in New York I love going shopping in the West Village, Bergdorf’s or the Meat Packing District. I also enjoy going to lunch at Cippriani’s in Soho, dinners at the Waverly, Ilmulino, the Lion, or Nobu. As far as going out, you can’t wrong at the Boom Boom room or One Oak.
