Cassa New York, Opening Soon!

Midtown Manhattan will soon be home to yet another luxury hotel/condo building, Cassa New York. Unlike its Midtown brethren, Cassa will stand in stark, white contrast to its otherwise bland buildings plopped down over the years up and down Sixth Avenue.

Obelisk-inspired, Cassa Hotel and Residences is a design collaboration between TenArquitectos and Cetra Ruddy. The 48-story tall building will feature 57 residences and 166 hotel rooms. A five-star restaurant is in the works to cater to both home and hotel residences. Other amenities include not only the requisite spa and fitness center, but also a wardrobe cataloging and storage service provided on an a la carte basis by Garde Robe. At this point, Cassa is aiming for a soft opening in May, with a grand opening July or August.

Hotel room rates will be competitive with what’s currently on the market, and each hotel room comes with the usual luxury features. Art in the building will be provided by Eden Gallery, adding to the modernist flavor of the building’s design.

Cassa New York is poised to be a bright spot in an otherwise design-starved Midtown neighborhood.
