Ahhh… the Swiss Bellefontaine Spa at Grand Hotel du Lac

The spa in the Grand Hotel du Lac in Switzerland is very special. It’s small and very private; it feels as though it was reserved especially for you. The spa only has two treatment rooms, one for skin care treatments and one for body treatments. It also has a Hammam (a Turkish bath) and a dry sauna as well as a fitness center and relaxation room.

So now you’re wondering why I’m telling you about a spa that sounds like so many other spas. It’s because this spa is a health and wellness center run by Bellefontaine, a very exclusive brand of skincare I had never heard of and was so impressed with I thought I should share it with you. I am always on the lookout for great skin treatments or skincare.

I was introduced to Ms. Carmen Yip, the director of Bellefontaine Switzerland and the manager of the spa at the hotel. Ms. Yip told me all about Bellefontaine, how it is made in Switzerland and all the products are natural and found within the country. The spa’s most exclusive treatment is its caviar facial. This facial promises to tighten, lift, and reduce the signs of aging almost instantly. That is a serious promise, especially in a country like Switzerland.

Of course, I had to try it. What girl doesn’t want tighter, higher, younger-looking skin? The whole facial took two hours, and I have to say, when I was done, my skin was clearer, tighter, and felt amazing for four days! With regular visits it is promised that the results will last longer after each treatment.

After a treatment at the Grand Hotel Du Lac you are welcome to partake in the relaxation area, where they offer hot tea and fruit and nuts to snack on, or you can try the dry sauna or the Hammam.
